Alipay helps international brands to expand their products and services

image The Chinese online payment solution Alipay has formed relationships with more than 300 global branded companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia in the past year to provide cross-border online payment service for those companies in China. Thus, retailers from Japan, Korea and Italy including Marui Group, Yodobashi Camera Company Limited, IDEN and Forzieri use Alipay’s online payment solution. Besides, Alipay is also providing online payment service to software companies such as McAfee, an U.S.-based security software and solution provider.

Moreover, Alipay has formed partnerships with other online payment and e-commerce solution providers, such as Digital River, Global Collect and Ericsson Internet Payment eXchange. Alipay also cooperates with the leading online payment platforms such as Softbank Payment Service and Asiapay. Recently, Alipay has also forged payment collaboration with the largest online payment company in Taiwan ezPay.

Additionally, Alipay, which recorded more than 200 million registered users, as of the end of July 2009, incorporates an escrow-based system to provide safety and security to consumers and businesses conducting e-commerce transactions on the Internet. As of the end of the first half of 2009, Alipay was facilitating nearly five million transactions per day.
